🦡 Canon 24 70 F2 8 Ii Review
Review – Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II. The holy trinity. Three zoom lenses that are of excellent quality and near-perfectly cover the gamut of focal lengths most photographers will need. Canon's 16-35 f’/2.8 L, 24-70 f’/2.8 L II, and the 70-200 f’/2.8 L IS II. The later of these being a highly coveted portrait and telephoto zoom and

Canon EF 50mm F/1.2L USM. Lenses with built-in focus motor focus faster and more quietly than lenses without a focus motor which rely on the camera's body focus
The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM really is an excellent lens – there’s no quibbling with that. It shoots terrific images and its weather-sealing is among the best Canon has ever produced, making it a fantastic choice for landscapes.
The quality problems I experienced are especially disappointing because this lens has the potential to be a good one. The Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG HSM II Macro Lens is well built - Sigma EX lenses generally are. The focus and zoom rings are nicely sized and relatively smooth-functioning with a nice amount of friction.
So far I’ve been leaning toward 28-70 f/2. However, some people say the extra weight and bulk aren’t worth it over 24-70/2.8, plus it has focus breathing and noisier AF (matters for video but I don’t do often). Others suggested that with 15-35 and 70-200 the only range I’m missing is 45-60 so a 50mm fast prime makes sense.

The Sony FE 70-200mm f2.8 G Master Mark II is a high-end telephoto zoom for the e-mount mirrorless system and Sony’s first G Master lens to receive a Mark II redesign. Announced in October 2021, it comes five and a half years after the Mark I which actually launched the G Master series alongside the 24-70 2.8 and 85 1.4 lenses – I wonder if
It has become my 3rd favorite lens behind the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 zoom lens and the 50mm f/1.2 prime lens. In conclusion, we give the Canon 24-70mm Mark II zoom lens an SLR Lounge rating of 5 out of 5 stars even though it does not have image stabilization. For all of us video folk, let’s hope that Canon will get an IS version of this great
It is as sharp at f4 as 5.6 @ 70mm. When I owned this lens it really made a big difference between f4 and 5.6 so you should be pretty safe at 5.6 at all focal lengths. Zeee's gear list: Canon EOS R7 Canon EOS R6 Mark II Canon RF 24-105mm F4L IS USM Canon RF 100-500mm F4.5-7.1L IS USM +1 more.
Review of the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III Lens. The history of the 70-200mm is far shorter than many may suspect. With the original Canon 70-200mm f/.28L, from Canon at least, being released in 1995, many people are shocked to hear that we’ve had seven different iterations of this lens in just 23 years. And that’s only counting the Canon
For general use, most people would want a shorter focal length at the wide end. One excellent lens for this type of use is the EFS 17-55mm f/2.8 IS lens. Bottom line: While the 24-70 could be "useful" in some cases on a cropped sensor body, most people looking to cover the "normal" range on crop would probably be happier with the 17-55. Dan
This did not happen with the Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L II, and thus I am hit with the daunting task of wrangling in this new piece of hardware. I’m going to start by saying this is not going to be
