When I start my Alfa in the morning, it starts up nicely, but after several seconds, the engine speed drops significantly or eventualy stops completely. After I start it again, there is no problem and the engine is running without Thisthing hits boost so early with the factory turbo and it makes about 30-40% more torque than the Busso. The TBI is the faster engine without a doubt. A simple remap with the K03 will get you making similar peak power to a Busso, but you have the benefit of the torque starting all the way down at 1500 rpm. Theyboth feature a larger turbo and a higher factory state of tune, as well as (I believe) aluminium blocks, whereas the 159/Brera TBi has aluminium heads but an iron block. General points to note on a 159/Brera/Spider TBi: - Cambelt interval is recommended as c. 4 years or 40k miles and costs £500-600 at most specialists.
