Intel Mesa Intel UHD 620 (KBL GT2) Intel Core i5-8250U @ 1.60GHz. This game uses a lot of RAM. When I had only 16GB of RAM, the game would frequently cause me to run out of memory (causing frequent crashes). However, creating a 32GB swapfile fixed this problem entirely, and with 32GB of RAM it's a non-issue.

If you set GSYNC up in the NVIDIA driver to also apply in windowed mode, it works in CK3, which means the game isn't running at true fullscreen. You should also tweak the settings.txt in documents/paradox interactive/crusader kings II I set shadows off, shadowsize to 1, multi_sampling 0, anisotropic_filtering 0, then I set draw_trees to no, draw_postfx no, draw_sky no, draw_bloom no and draw_citysprawl no. Changing these makes a huge difference in how smoother the game runs.
